There's Always Something Going on in Whitby.

NYMR Teddy Bear Week

Every child (must be accompanied by an adult) who brings a Teddy with them, travels for free on the North York Moors Railway between Sunday (14th February) and February 22nd.

The Moors Centre, Danby

Childrend (and Adults) can learn about the Moorland wildlife that will soon wake up as Spring returns to the Moors.

You can also enjoy some exciting spring crafts.

Fossil Hunt at Boggle Hole

Join the group for fossil hunting at Boggle Hole to the south of Robin Hood’s Bay.

Meet in the car park at the top of the path down to Boggle Hole.

Monday 15th February.

2pm-3.30pm.

Art at Captain Cook's Museum

Artist Rachael Boddington will work with children to create a decorative shell collage.

Drop-in, 11am to 3pm on Sunday (14th February).

£1 or free with museum entry.

Abbey

Monks Life at Whitby Abbey

Discover what it was like to be a monk with storytelling, dressing up and see fascinating finds from the Abbey’s history.

Everyday from Saturday 13th February until to Sunday February 21st.

11am to 4pm.
