Rosedale History Society is holding its next informal history meeting and chat on Sunday 6th April 2014.
And there are tea and cakes on offer as well!
Lots of History on Offer in Rosedale. Rosella Cottage Circa 1900.
The history meeting is always held on each first Sunday of every month; with the next scheduled for Sunday 4th May if you can't make April.
The history meeting is open to all holidaymakers, visitors and locals from 2pm – 4pm at the Updale Reading Room.
And a visit to Rosedale is so much more rewarding if you're able to interpret the history of the landscape for yourself.
Due to requests for extended research time, the History Society is also opening the Committee Room at 1.30p.m. for quiet study!
There are more than 30 folders of research, family histories and personal memories, project files, transcribed Census and Parish Records and lots more local information.
A Visit is Much More Rearding If you Know a Little History of the Area.
If you haven't been before, the Rosedale History Society would love to see you; and show you some of the archives and records available.
