Tour de Yorkshire Sportive Race

As part of the celebration of cycle racing that is the Tour de Yorksire; to be held in May 2015, the race organizes are also holding a series of Sportive Rides that are open to all sportive riders.

The North York Moors are Awaiting the Thrill of the Tour de Yorkshire.

The Sportive events provide a once in a lifetime opportunity to keen amateur riders in the UK to experience a professional road race stage.

The sportive events follow the same route, structure and with spectators as for the pro-race; and it also finish's on the Tour de Yorkshire finish line.

There's no where to Compare to a Spring Ride in the Yorkshire Countryside.

The sportive events will take place on the third and final stage day  of the Tour de Yorkshire on Sunday, 3rd May.

There will be three route distances and also a women only Cycletta will be available for keen female riders.

The long route is 140km; the medium route is 100km; and both the short route and Cycletta (Women Only) are 50km in length respectively.

There are even comparison climb times with the Pros so you can check how you compare with the best of the best.

Riders will experience the same Tour de Yorkshire roads, combined with Yorkshire hospitality, and the breathtaking scenery of the Yorkshire countryside in high Spring.

The Tour de Yorkshire Sportive is Open to All Sportive Riders.

You can register your interest to participate on the Tour de Yorkshire website to receive an early bird price discount.

The event’s official launch will come at the end of January 2015.

Note: the race has a minimum age requirement of 16-years as at 31 December, 2015.
