Friars Hill Stables

Friars Hill Stables near Pickering is a family run business owned by Alison Brown and combines professionalism with a relaxed friendly atmosphere.

Located in Sinnington on the edge of the North York Moors, Friars Hill Stables are only a short drive for holidaymakers from Rosella Cottage here in Rosedale Abbey.

The stables have a wide range of well behaved horses and ponies to ride for all ages and standards.

And they have two indoor floodlit schools which allow for riding all year round regardless of the outdoor weather conditions.

The stables is a Pony Club Approved Centre which means that youngsters can take advantage of the Pony Club educational system without having to own a pony of their own.

Friars Hill offer a one hour or two hour hacks escorted by our experienced and qualified staff.

A walk out for an hour or a 30 minute lesson and 30 minute walk out around the picturesque village of Sinnington are also offered to less experienced riders.

The stables also offer the following services:
