England Coast Path

The England Coast Path will be a new National Trail that allows walkers to hike the whole of England's coastline.

Parts of the path are already open and the rest will be opening in sections until 2020.

The Whole of the Yorkshire Coastline will become Accessable in 2015.

When completed, the England Coast Path will be almost 2,800 miles long!

That makes the planned route  one of the longest coastal walks in the World.

As we know, Yorkshire's coastline is spectacularly beautiful, rich in wildlife and already hugely popular with walkers along the Cleveland Way.

The rest of the England Coast Path from Humberside through Yorkshire to Cleveland will be completed in 2015.

So the great joy of exploring the beaches, cliff-tops and headlands of the Yorkshire Heritage Coast will be open to even more places next year.
