Late Autumn is a lovely time to be on the North York Moors; the time when the Moors are at their brooding best in my opinion.
And they're also at their quietest now; the summer holidaymakers are long since gone and you'll pretty much have the higher fells to yourself when out for a drive, hike or cycle ride.
Today I'm posting some Autumnal photographs that capture the mood of the Moors at this time of year.
