Golfing Holidays in Whitby or Rosedale

There are several golf courses within easy reach of Rosella Cottage in Rosedale Abbey or Spyglass 1708 in Whitby.

Indeed, there is even a 9-hole course just up the road from Rosella Cottage and an 18-hole links course close to Spyglass 1708 in Whitby.

Rosedale Abbey

You’ll find a 9-hole pitch and putt course which makes children welcome.  The Rosedale Course is open from Easter to October.  Tel: 01751 417270.

Kirkbymoorside

The Manor Vale 18-hole course is located north of Kirkbymoorside (from A170) and only about ten miles from Rosedale Abbey.  It is advisable to book in advance (Tel: 01751 430402).

Malton

The Welham Park Golf Course near Malton has 27 holes and a driving range.  Located off the A64 Scarborough to York road; it is an easy half-hour drive from Whitby or Rosedale.  Visitors are welcome but you’ll need to call in advance to book (Tel: 01653 697912). 

Whitby Golf Club
