Coach House Inn
The Coach House Inn is a traditional country pub offering a wide choice of quality home cooked meals and real ales. There’s a children’s menu, family room, varied entertainment programme and beer garden at the front providing seating for summer views over Rosedale, when it’s open 7-days a week. The Milburn Arms Hotel is is a traditional Yorkshire Hotel with a bar and restaurant reopening at Easter 2014 after a six-year closure. There’s also a lovely beer garden at the front providing seating for summer views to Rosella Cottage across the road.

The Farmhouse Fodder Tea Garden enjoys beautiful views down the valley of Rosedale. Serving sandwiches with homemade bread buns, cream scones, Yorkshire cakes, loose leaf Yorkshire tea and large pots of Taylors of Harrogate ground coffee. Cold drinks include homemade Elderflower cordial. Every thing is homemade on the premises using local ingredients. A great place to call in when doing the Rosedale walking circuit from Rosella Cottage.
The Moors Inn is a great place to eat out and very close to Rosella Cottage. Offering a select wine list, a large selection of single malts, and hand pulled local ales. North Yorkshire’s highest pub and close to Rosedale Abbey. You can drive, walk or cycle. The food is great and the view is spectacular. Can be tricky in winter if the fog is down on the hills or snow is forecast. One of our favourite places and you must call in if you’re staying in Rosedale. It also marks roughly the half way point of the Lyke Wake Walk. Your feet will hurt by now!
Getting there from Rosedale Abbey. Turn left out of your Yorkshire holiday home’s front door. Drive out of the village and uphill towards the Blakey Road. At the “T” junction on Blaky Ridge, turn left and head towards Hutton-le-Hole (sign-posted). After about two miles you’ll pass the Lion Inn on the right-hand side of the road. Call in for a quick one, or for lunch or dinner.
White's Restaurant is a local favourite just over Hamer Moor from Rosedale Abbey at Egton Bridge.
White's offer Great British traditional food with a touch of international flavours, and the journey to get there takes you along the most scenic road in England.
White's uses only the freshest finest ingredients and of course from as local a source as possible. Fresh vegetables fruit and herbs are grown in the garden behind the restaurent and supplemented by local farmers. Beef and pork are locally farmed and game is sourced from the local Estates. And excellent seafood comes from Whitby.
