The North York Moors and Yorkshire Heritage Coast are widely known as an area of outstanding natural and seascape beauty; but don’t let our rural location get in the way of some serious retail “therapy”.

There are plenty of opportunities for serious shopping when you stay at either Rosella Cottage in Rosedale or Spyglass 1708 in Whitby.

Close to Rosedale and Whitby, you’ll have a fantastic abundance of local artisans and unique gift shops to visit. These local businesses are the lifeblood of our local community and help to create the character and soul of the region.
