Cottage Features
Following 160-years of continuous occupation, Rosella Cottage was extensively renovated in the winter of 2012; with a new bedroom, new bathroom, and new kitchen created.
Bringing Rosella Cottage back to life was undertaken by local Stone Mason Robert Harrison together with the expert interior-design consultation by Emma Gordon from "Eye-Candy" over in Halifax.
There is an original Victorian fireplace to the lounge, new carpets throughout, and double glazing to all windows and doors. Rosella was also re-furnished and decorated by Eye-Candy throughout to give a luxury and contemporary feel for the 2013 holiday season in Northern Yorkshire.
Downstairs of this one bed-room holiday cottage, there is a cosy lounge with a romantic open-hearth fireplace. This space connects with the small kitchen. There is also an additional sofa-bed in the lounge.
Upstairs, we have one large master bedroom together with a nice en-suite bathroom.
