The Blacksmith's Arms is located in our near-neighbour village at Lastingham about four-miles to the South of Rosedale Abbey.

The pub is quaint and recently renovated with two dining rooms and a pleasent bar.

And it is within easy walking distance of historic St Marys church in the village.

Head Chef Glen Collinson excels in serving home-made dishes using locally-sourced produce.

The extensive menu caters for all tastes especially those with hearty appetites.

The main Bar is always available for a refreshing drink and bar meals are served in the afternoon from 12 noon to 5 pm.

The Blacksmiths at Lastingham is ideally placed for visitors from Rosella Cottage who are walking the eight mile circular route from Rosedale Abbey to Lastingham.

Lastingham marks the half-way point of the walk.

So the pub offers an excellent spot to call in for a well earned pint (or two) and some lunch.
