We're in mid-August and the school holidays are coming along apace on the North York Moors.

Have an Adventure on the North York Moors this Summer.

The adventures take place every Tuesday and Thursday during August for 9 to 16 year olds.

And for just £30 per person, kids can go canoeing down the River Esk, or participate in sailing, beck scrambling, surfing, mountain biking, orienteering, climbing, or learn bushcraft.

Castle Howard is hosting a Mad Hatter's Tea Party next Wednesday, 27th August.

NYM Railway Story Trains

The North York Moors Railway is running story trains on Friday 22nd and Friday 29th August.

Kids and adults can enjoy a different themed train each week with fancy dress characters bringing the fantasy World to life.
