Cropton Brewery

Perched on the edge of the North Yorks Moors, and just down the road from Rosella Cottage in Rosedale Abbey, you'll find our local Cropton Brewery.

Its close enough to cycle there; but take care when coming back!

They've been brewing-up award-winning real ales at the Cropton Brewery since the ancient craft of brewing returned to the Cropton in 1984.

The original Cropton Brewery was established in the cellars of the New Inn in the village.

In 1994, the brewery was expanded at 'Woolcroft' in Cropton and within a year, production of real ale had doubled.

And 1994 saw the introduction of Cropton Brewery's first bottle-conditioned beer.

The brewery has gone from strenth-to-strength and they now produce over a dozen different cask conditioned and bottled beers.

With names like 'Monkmans Slaughter', 'Rudolphs Revenge', 'Yorkshire Moors', and 'Tunnel Vision', you're in for a real treat when you visit the brewery.

Daily brewery tours are available all year round.

But since Cropton Brewery is a working brewery, tour times are subject to change.

Call to book your brewery tour on 01751 417330.

Unfortunately, children under 12 are not allowed in the brewery.

You can also organize to have Cropton Brewery real ale delivered to your home; and many loal pubs also serve the beer in this region.
