The towns that surround the North York Moors' Southern boundary - Helmsley, Kirkbymoorisde, Pickering and Malton - will be switching on their Christmas lights and decorating thier High Streets towards the end of November.

And our local market towns are also hosting special late-night shopping in the run up to Christmas.

With lots of independent retailers to visit, it's easy to pick up those extra special gifts in near-by Helmsley, Kirkbymoorside, Pickering or Malton.
