And the North York Moors is the largest tract of open Moorland in England today.

The open, upland heather Moorland of the North York Moors National Park provides some of the best habitat for internationally-important ground-nesting birdlife such as Curlew, Lapwing, Golden Plover and Merlin.

And the range of birdlife, animals, and trees, flowers and plants is simply astonounding.
