The White Swan, North York Moors

The White Swan (Satnav postcode = YO18 8QA) is a lovely country Inn located in the quaint village of Newton-upon-Rawcliffe; and only a short and very pleasent drive or cycle ride from Rosella Cottage here in Rosedale Abbey.

The White Swan is open all year round in the evenings from 6pm - 11pm.

Bar meals are served from Monday to Saturday from 6pm to 8.30pm.

To drive or cycle to the White Swan from Rosella Cottage, simply head South out of Rosedale Abbey down "the Avenue" past the Coach House Inn.

Turn left when you reach the village of Cropton, and then left again onto the Hight Street in the village.

Pass through the village and the road turns to the right and becomes High Lane.

At the T-junction with West Dike Road, turn left.

Turn Right onto Rawcliffe Road and you'll soon arrive at Newton-upon-Rawcliffe.
