Britain's National Trails are 19 long distance paths; providing some of the best walking scenery in the United Kingdom.
There are four trails in Scotland; 12 in England; and three in Wales.

The Cleveland Way and the Coast-to-Coast Trails Both Run Close to Rosedale.
There are coastal trails like the South West Coast Path and Pembrokeshire Coast Path.
There are also trails that follow pre-historic routes such as Peddars Way, and the Ridgeway.
The Thames Path is the only Riverside route.
And there is even the famous coast-to-coast trail from the seaside in Cumbria to the North Sea in Yorkshire - and running right past Rosedale Abbey.

All the National Trails are Well Sign-posted.
The 19 National Trails provide 3,000 miles of walking opportunity to even the most avid of long distance walkers.
And there is a scheme to award membership at various levels based on the number of trails you walk in a lifetime.
You'll need to walk five of the National Trails gain entry at Bronze level.
Complete five more trails and you'll advance to Silver status.
If you complete 15 different National Trails you'll be awarded Gold status.
Completing all 19 of Britain's National Trails place you in a very distinguished and exclusive group of long distance walkers.
You'll recieve the National Trail Diamond award.
Each of the Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Diamond status' is commemorated by a distinctive certificate.
There is no time limit for completing the National Trails; and claims may be made retrospectively.
