Hikers on the 'Inn Way' will enjoy 89 miles of the finest scenery on offer in the North York Moors.
Following a circuit route; and starting and finishing in Helmsley, the walk comprises six day's of walking with overnight stops in pretty villages; with each stage averaging around 14-miles of walking.
And each overnight stop allows for a visit to watering holes of repute - hence the name - "Inn Way".
The North York Moors and the Inn Way are Iconic for Walkers.
The walk can be completed all in one go over 6-8 days; or completed as individual day-walks over several weekends.
When end-to-ending, it's a good idea to have a rest day by spending a couple of nights in Rosedale Abbey which lies around the half-way point of the walk.
And a weekend or mid-week break in Rosella Cottage in Rosedale Abbey makes an ideal luxurious resting place!
As you undertake the Inn Way, you'll get to enjoy the finest scenery in Rosedale, Farndale, Bransdale, Bilsdale, Levisham, Eskdale, and Hawnby.
The six stages are traditionally completed from Helmsley to Hutton-le-Hole (14 miles), Hutton-le-Hole to Levisham (13 miles), Levisham to Egton Bridge (15 miles), Egton Bridge to Rosedale Abbey (15 miles), Rosedale Abbey to Hawnby (16 miles), and Hawnby back to Helmsley (16 miles)
