Festival on the Moor 2014
I try to keep up with local events on the North York Moors surrounding Rosedale Abbey.
But there is simply so much going on in late Spring and early Summer up here that it is sometimes hard to keep up!
So I can only apologize to Botton Community at the head of Danby Dale that I've missed the news alerts about your wonderful folk music festival this weekend.
Festival on the Moors Kicked-off on Friday 22nd May 2014.
Still, it's not too late to get along to "Festival on the Moor" today (Saturday 24th May), or on Sunday, or even on bank-holiday Monday; and still have a wonderful time in this beautiful part of the Moors.
Although I'm a day late in this announcement, there are still three days of folk-music entertainment on offer.
Botton village is located at the head of Danby Dale.
Access is off the Blakey Road between Castleton, Rosedale Abbey and Hutton-le-Hole - about two miles due North of Young Ralph's Cross on the highest part of the Moor .
