April and May bring high Spring to the North York Moors that surround Rosella Cottage here in the pretty village of Rosedale Abbey.
And Springtime is without doubt the nicest time to visit the Moors.
With the lengthening days, the lovely light evenings, Spring sunshine, and the vivid green new growth of grass and trees, Rosedale, Farndale, Eskdale and all the other sheltered dales that make up the North York Moors National Park look simply spectacular.
Lush Spring Vegetation in Rosedale.
And with new vegitation come the first Spring Lambs which can't help but melt the coldest hearts!
They're so sweet!
Spring is Lambing-time Across the High North York Moors.
Another reason that I love Springtime on the North York Moors is that the region is still quiet before we get into the height of the school holidays and the busy summer period with lots of visitors.
Holidaymakers in Spring will find the pace of life on the Moors is still slower and peaceful, making for a lovely time.
So, if you're looking for holiday accommodation on the North York Moors this Spring, we still have availability for April and May 2014.
Please check our "Booking" page for further information.
