The Blacksmiths Inn at Hartoft

cycling small

The Blacksmiths is one of our favourite Inns and places to eat; and it's only a short bicycle ride or trip in the car down the Rosedale valley to the hamlet of Hartoft.

Fully refurbished and re-opened in September 2010 the Blacksmiths is run by new owners Howard and Daphne Hebron.

With parts of the Blacksmiths dating back several centuries, the Inn now offers cosy bar areas with log fires, and a newly refurbished restaurant serving fantastic food.

So if you're staying at Rosella Cottage in Rosedale Abbey and you're looking for real ales, excellent food, genuine peace and quiet, and breath taking scenery, perhaps you should take a ride or drive down the valley to the Blacksmiths!

The Bar is open from 11.30am until 2.30pm and 5.30pm until 11pm on weekdays and Sundays; and 11.30pm to 11pm on Saturdays.

Food is served in the bar from 12 noon until 2.30pm and from  6pm until 8.30pm.

The restaurant is open for dinner from 6pm and serves meals until 8.30pm every evening and Sunday lunchtime from 12 noon until 2.30pm.
