There's an informative visitor centre, shop, cafe and restaurant; all in the heart of the Forest.

And if that weren't enough; you can discover Go Ape for tree-top adventure, the Dalby Bike Barn for mountain bike hire, the Dixon's Hollow bike park, craft workshops, picnic areas and loads of wildlife and birdlife.

Getting to Dalby Forest

Entrance to Dalby Forest is off the A169 Pickering to Whitby Road; just to the South of Lockton (Postcode = YO18 7LT).

It's approximatley 15-miles by car from Rosella Cottage here in Rosedale Abbey.

Admission per car is as follows:

To October 2014: £7.00 all day or £4 after 4pm 

Nov to February 2015: £4 all day
