We have had a wonderful week based in Rosedale Abbey. The Cottage and village are lovely and we have explored the Moors and Coast. Recommend the Lion Inn after a walk on Blakey Ridge. The Crown Inn serves good food in Hutton-le-Hole. Hope to come back again. Laura and Jon, September, 2014.

What a beautiful location in a gorgeous village. Incredibly dog-freindly too!! We bought a walk book from Abbey Stores and did 5-walks round the local area, starting from Rosedale. They were all easy to follow and very enjoyable. Thanks for a great stay. Sophie and Gerard, and Elton the Springer-doodle, September 2014.

We've had a lovely week in this cosy Cottage. We took advantage of the lovely weather to explore Rosedale and did the walk of North Rosedale and South Rosedale and learned all about the history of this beautiful area. We also walked part of the Cleveland Way coastal path from Robin Hoods Bay to Whitby which was beautiful. The coast is definately worth exploring - Staithes, Runswick Bay, Sandsend, Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay are all fascinating. Can't wait to come back. Liz and Nick, Sept, 2014.

Ideal location for exploration. Friendly village and the Cottage had everything we needed. Thanks for letting us use your home, and especially Jackie for arranging such a welcome to the cottage. We tried our best to leave everything where we found it. Charlie and Carol, 2014.

Thanks for letting us have use of your beautiful cottage. It was all we could have hoped for. Great location for exploring the beautiful North York Moors. Welcome pack was much appreciated. Malcolm and Gill, 2014.

Great place. Loved the Cottage and cosy and welcoming! The Moors were stunning. Even in the rain! Thanks very much. Carl and Louise, from Kent, August 2014.

A Lovely holiday - great cottage in a magic setting - dinner and a pint (or two) of Black Sheep at the Coach House Inn, incredible black sheep at Hutton-le-Hole, a ride from Pickering to Whitby and back on the Steam Train - glorious weather. Helmsley, the boundary stones on Blakey Ridge, a wonderful week. Tim & Jenny, July 2014.
