Stay warm and dry and whilst soaking up the art and culture on offer in Danby!

About the Artists

Freya Horsley attempts to capture the intangibility of the changes that rain, mist, sunlight, cloud, snow and wind bring to the face of the North York Moors.

James Morgan Williams lives and works in Saltburn, on the North Yorkshire coast. His art reflects his interest in the drama of the physical landscape.

Jan Richardson moved to North Yorkshire with her family in 2008 and has a natural, free-flowing way of painting that evolved from her compulsive drawing of her surroundings.

Caroline Riley grew up on the North York Moors and works from her studio in a converted tractor shed in Commondale. She is inspired by all things local.
