Dalesmen Choir Concert

Danby in the beautiful North York Moors National Park is home for the Dalemen Singers.

The Dalesmen Male Voice Choir was formed in 1971 and has continued to grow in stature and success since those early days.

The choir has a tradition of support for many different local charities.

There are currently around 40 singers in the choir with all kinds of different backgrounds and experiences.

Members come from as far a field as Teesside, Whitby and Pickering.

The choir is led by the well known and talented musical director, Stephen Maltby and well known and talented accompanist Ann Hartley.

The choir undertakes around 15 local concerts each year.

And they quite often go on tour to Europe and North America.

The next Gala Concert and Supper is on Saturday 20th October, starting at 7.30pm at the Danby Methodist Chapel in Danby.
