6 Rosedale Abbey

North Yorkshire, UK
In the 1920s, a corrugated iron shed was built to house the Farndale Silver Band at Low Mills in the beautiful valley of Farndale.
Its just in the next valley across from Rosedale Abbey here in Rosedale.
That shed is now well-known across the North York Moors as the Bandroom - and the "greatest small venue on Earth" or "England's tiniest major venue".
The next performance coming up in June 2013 at the Bandroom in Farndale are the Tasmanian stars "the Blue Mosquitoes".
You can catch them live on Saturday June 29th.
And as a bonus, on Friday 5th July, the Bandroom welcomes Ruth Moody from Canada's alt-country superstars the Wailin' Jennys.
Ruth Moody has been warming up for the gig in Farndale by playing with Dire Straits' Mark Knopfler for six straight nights at some poky place in London.
They call it the Royal Albert Hall or somesuch?
