East to West Coast to Coast Walk

In June 2016 I undertook a solo, unsupported, end-to-end hike across Northern England on the Wainwright Coast-to-Coast route.

I walked to meet a life-long ambition; and to raise funds for the Royal National Lifeboat Institute's Whitby Lifeboat Crew.

The walk took me 10-days straight and I managed to raise £1,050.25 for the RNLI in Whitby.

Unlike most walkers on the Coast-to-Coast, I was forced by circumstances to make an East to West transit; and in coming days I'll post some of the things I've learned about the walk on this blog page.
