Arches Cookery School

The Arches Cookery School at Grinkle Park Farm is an innovative business offering short cookery classes to visitors to the North York Moors.

A visit makes a nice activity for anyone visiting this corner of Yorkshire.

Founded and run by Sarah Muir, the cookery courses are influenced by her globe-trotting cooking adventures with the World's biggest Rock Stars.

She spent the 20-years "on the road" providing catering services to high flying entertainers such as Elton John, Madness, Whitney Houston, George Michael, Bob Dylan, Bon Jovi, Oasis, Van Morrison, Lionel Richie, and Robbie Williams to name a few.

Sarah was also the personal chef to Radiohead for six world tours and the personal chef for the Spice Girls world tours.

Now happily settled down in her native North Yorkshire, her recipes are modern inspired and imaginative using the best produce from the North York Moors.

Sarah offer's full hands on cooking courses for all abilities.

You'll learn new skills, new cooking methods, the use of unusual ingredients, and how to create and present fantastic dishes.

And the Arches Cookery School is based in a beautiful converted barn at Grinkle Park Farm.

It's just a 30-minutes drive across the lovely North York Moors from Rosella Cottage here in Rosedale Abbey.

All the vegetables and herbs used in the cookery school are grown right on the farm.

And its surrounded by a wonderful rural landscape full of ancient woodland and heather moorland.
