Can you chill out without a mobile phone?

If you're like any of the 87.72 per cent of Daily Telegraph readers who said they'd like a no mobile, no email "digital detox" holiday, then you'll love Rosella Cottage in Rosedale.

That's because - on purpose - we don't have internet access, and there is no mobile phone coverage in the village.

But if you're one of the 12.28 per cent who can't live without technology, you're welcome to walk, cycle or drive to the top of Chimney Bank where your mobile device will work just fine! 

Speaking for ourselves, we find that the lack of mobile coverage and no internet is a way of forcing us to chill-out and forget about work for a few days each time we visit Rosella.

And that's a good thing.
