Autumn in Rosedale Abbey

Following on from the very pleasent summer we've had this year in Rosedale Abbey; Autumn has also been quite spectacular on the North York Moors and we've already had the first snowfall of the season.

I always think that Autumn is probably the best time to visit the North York Moors; as they're at their brooding best and most of the high-summer season visitors have gone home.

So the Moors are both Majestic and Quiet in Autumn which is what I really like.

To mark the end of Autumn, I'm posting a few seasonal photographs which highlight the beauty of Rosedale Abbey and the high moors at this time of year.
