The Rosedale History Society (RHS) is hosting its 2013 monthly history walks program.
Sunday 14th April kicks off with a nice and easy Rosedale Abbey village walk.
The walk starts-off from the village green at 2pm.
The walk lasts around an hour and you'll have the chance to learn all about our fascinating village.

Sunday 19th May sees a slightly harder and longer walk on offer.
It takes in the history of Hollins, Ana Cross and Bank Top.
The walk starts-off from the White Horse Inn carpark at 2pm.
The June walk takes place on Sunday 23rd.
You'll learn about the history of Northdale and the Northdale Beck.
It'll take around 3-hours and you'll start from the village green in Rosedale Abbey.
On Sunday 21st July, you'll have the chance to learn all about the East Mines and Dale Head; and take in some lovely scenary at the same time.
Starting off at 1pm, the walk will take about 4 hours. Leaving from SchoolRow in Updale.
Sunday 25th August sees a repeat of the nice and easy Rosedale Abbey village walk.
Starting at 2 pm from the village green and taking about an hour.
Learn all about the history of our ancient hamlet.
September offers a real treat with the Rosedale Walking Festival.
The history walks will include a series of themed walks, including Thorgill, Medd's Farm and Sheriff's Pit.
All walks are likely to be over 4-hours duration and the day and time are still being arranged.
