The Shed at Brawby

The Shed is one of our local and distinctive arts venues on the Southern edge of the North Yorks Moors and just a few miles outside Kirkybmoorside.  It's about 30-minutes away by car from Rosedale Abbey.

The Shed presents world-class music, comedy and poetry, with unique live-art events.

Coming-up in March 2013 is the excellent British Comedian Mike Harding.  So be quick to get tickets before he sells out!

The Shed is all weird and wonderful and the gigs serve delicious pints of locally-brewed Shed Bitter.

Since 1992, the Shed has been described as “North Yorkshire’s hub of improvised happenings” (Jez Nelson, Jazz on 3).
