Rosedale's Historic Inns

Visitors to Rosedale have the option of drinking or eating-out at seven historic North York Moors Inns within a five-mile radius of the village of Rosedale Abbey.

There are four pubs in Rosedale itself; plus another three pubs within an easy drive or cycle-ride.

White Horse Farm Hotel Snow

The White Horse offers a Warm Welcome on a Cold Day.

Three of Rosedale's pubs are in the main village in the Dale - Rosedale Abbey - but still a nice small place with a real sense of community.

These three are the Coach House Inn, the White Horse Farm Inn, and the Milburn Arms Hotel (re-opening Easter 2014 after a six-year closure).

The Milburn Arms Hotel is Opposite Rosella Cottage.

The fourth pub in Rosedale - the Blacksmiths Country Hotel - is in the small hamlet of Hartoft about two miles to the South of Rosedale Abbey.

Coach House Bar

The Coach House is Another Pub in the Village.

Near-by Inns include the Crown Inn at Hutton-le-Hole (4-miles from Rosedale Abbey), the Blacksmiths Arms at Lastingham (4-miles away), and the famous Lion Inn on Blakey Ridge (5-miles away).

Blacksmiths Lastingham

The Blacksmith's at Lastingham - Not Really in the Graveyard!

All of our seven  "locals" offer real-Ales, nice beer gardens, and good bar food or sandwhiches.

The White Horse Farm and Coach House in Rosedale Abbey, the Blacksmiths at Hartoft, and the Lion Inn at Blakey also offer more formal restaurant dining.

 Blakey Ridge

The Lion Inn Above Rosedale is England's Remotest Inn.
