The North York Moors National Park Authority is hosting its first ever walking festival over the weekend of Friday 22nd to Monday 25th May, 2015.

The North York Moors is Walking Heaven.

Walk Fest will include walks for all ages and abilities and expert guides offering information on archaeology, wildlife conservation, local history, and even brewing!

There will be beach art walks, moorland hikes, nature photography walks, afternoon tea strolls, navigation workshops, geocaching and self-led trails.

But advance bookings and payment are essential!

• Children are welcome but minimum ages apply, and all children must be accompanied by an adult.

• Dogs are allowed on some walks, but must be kept on a short fixed lead at all times.
