I reckon that the Rosella Cottage blog is a pretty good source of holiday planning info for anyone looking to visit Rosedale Abbey or the wider North York Moors.

But once you're here, you'll also be well served by the National Park people and numerous local outlets that are happy to share local knowledge with visitors to the region.

National Park Visitor Centres

For starters, make sure to call into either of the two National Park Visitor Centres.

Our nearest is located at Lodge Lane in Danby; about 9-miles from Rosella Cottage (YO21 2NB).

And it's a lovely spot to visit; with a super drive or cycle across the open moorland to get to it!
