The North York Moors National Park is all set to host a bunch of fun events for families over the Easter holidays.

And the Easter weekend - from Friday 18th to Monday 21st - is quite late this spring, so the weather should be that little bit warmer than usual.

There Are Loads of Outdoors Activites in the North York Moors.

The National Parks' activity programme offers a variety of ways to encourage families with children to enjoy the great outdoors.

Families visiting the North York Moors during the school holidays will find a range of spring-themed events on Tuesdays and Thursdays at The Moors National Park Centre in Danby.

And there will also be a Nature Discovery Day on Wednesday 16th April at the Sutton Bank National Park Centre near Helmsley.

This hands-on session is a great opportunity to explore the woodland along Sutton bank with a very knowledgeable and fun activity leader.

For more adventurous holidaymakers, the East Barnby Outdoor Centre is giving visitors a chance to take part in a range of activities.

There will be canoeing on the River Esk, sailing, mountain biking, climbing and bushcraft, with sessions offered in the Easter school holidays.

Make Some Fun Woodland Creatures at the Moors Centre, Danby.

The variety of events should appeal to children and families.
