There are a number of waymark symbols that visitors to the North York Moors might encounter when out for a walk or cycle ride.

Listed below, I describe the most common symbols you'll likely come across when hiking or riding on the North York Moors.

Yellow Arrows: Public footpath.

Blue Arrows: Public bridleway.

White Arrows: Concessionary footpath.
